I got him sorted out.

Out of curiosity. did you happen to let the customizations run when upgrading radio/rom? As for scenarios, use PHM regedit find and change to HKLM\ControlPanel\ETEN\ScenariosOption\Enable=0 ShowIcon=0 |

I did not let the customizations run as you stated on the instruction and while on the tap to customization screen, I did sync it and run custom rom and it went well. all msm, mms, internet all works. the phone work too, the verizon reps say she did temporary active my phone, beacuse she say I should take it to the local verizon store, but not sure how long will it work, I'm was afraid to take it to the local verizon store Also I notice on the home page, the icon on the right of the HOME button look like a people where I can enter the my Favorite people, I am only able to add into the first button and the rest even I added and it disappear after I switch around the home or weather button. I can't even delete the first favorite people, once I deleted it and it came back ???? |

Re: Verizon XV6900 upgrading tutorial and troubleshooting!!! GPS enabled!!!
never mind... just said f it and did the unlocking/upgrade anyway. if it is a virus... then its eating away at my phone as we speak...
finally did it and now im running the new sprint rom. got a little scared when i couldn't make calls or receive calls (but could use the internet) but I called and authenticated and all was fine. However, call me retarded... but how do i now flash one of the cooked roms on the touch? I downloaded a rom... someones .rar file. Ive searched all over and can't find an answer of how to run it. for example... step 7: let the phone sync and tap to begin... step 8: run whatever rom you feel comfortable with. but how do i run a rom? I feel like the answer is right in front of me or there is one small step that i am missing and i can't find out where its hiding. Thanks Last edited by FingazFone; 08-07-2008 at 04:59 PM. |

PC-cillin kinda sucks. I use Avast which is free! I doubt it is a virus unless You have a virus that prefers to store a copy in the folder.
