Re: GPS Fixes by Carrier

well, I posted some files so you wont have to flash again, which is I think what went wrong. I believe you let the customizations run. I posted the PPST and the EPST, so it should be easier now, if you wanna try.

I followed your directions on my Titan and was able to get GPS lock from within my bedroom quickly. The problem is I could not make/receive voice calls. Doing *228 failed both times so while it gets the data pumped up the voice is dead.

Pretty much a known issue with the 6900 devices on Verizon network. Reflashes and hard resets require new a-key and/or the tier 2 tech support person at Vzw to reset their network to allow your device user name / password.

I needed a new A-key and to reset the data auth user/pwd on the phone and the tech had to refresh something or change somehting on their network. The network wasnt allowing me to authorize and get on the network.

Run the PPST from Sprint. See the sticky at the top of the forum, the one that says Sprint GPS in the title. We have found a way to get the PPST from Sprint onto the Bell, Telus phones, and maybe verizon

And this is the whole reason I started this. I've seen people say that the PPST doesn't work. Any Verzion user confirm the functionality of installing the PPST from sprint as a fix without mucking up the phone or destroying your A-Key?
