Re: NexVision's HULK ROM GPS_RevA

like everything that's included but looking for the stock look with the stock HTC cube customizer included.....just a quick suggestion for the next version, maybe make a completely loaded stock looking one with the skin options pre-loaded? I think that would take care of everyone!

Thanks for your work man, I really appreciate all you guys giving the rest of us options!!!

Now if we can get the some kind of graphic driver/software update included, we'll be rockin and rollin

There is no stock HTC cube customizer the customizer I did see is far from stock and did not work on my stock device when I tried it.

Graphic driver update coming soon... With partial direct draw.

Re: NexVision's HULK ROM GPS_RevA

I can't remember if I read that this updates the radio or just the rom? Haven't made the leap yet--I'm still reading through Imcokeman's 37 page thread.

Another question I had: I remember reading that when flashing roms you have to catch it before it loads the sprint software. Is that true with this rom? As long as I get the Verizon rom I assume I wouldn't have to .....EDIT: Answered on my own.

Also, I'm guessing I'll want the Hulk .nbh file in the same folder as the unlocker? I don't see a "browse" button on the unlocker software.... Do I replace a certain .nbh file with the Hulk version? EDIT: Figured it out.

Re: NexVision's HULK ROM GPS_RevA

Thanks everyone for the instructions but I'm stuck at the htc Windows Mobile screen. This appears to be the start up screen. Tried several soft resets to no avail. Even tried a hard reset. Even tried removing the battery. Been waiting over 10 minutes. Will I get my phone back? Should I try to flash back to something else?

EDIT: Got it to work. Didn't realize I had to update my radio, too. Still not sure if all is well........ My first foray into this sort of thing.

Re: NexVision's HULK ROM GPS_RevA

This is my first flash. I was a little nervous at first but I was able to get everything working. Boy, there's a lotta stuff on here! This is a great rom.

I kinda like the ipod feel. Can't get the gps to work yet but I'm reading up on it and the programs get stuck for a second or two once in a while but otherwise this seems like a great rom! I really like the weather better than the stock rom. It will take me a week to work myself around the other features but that's what I like about it--it's very tweakable.

How can you change the icons that show up on "ultimate launch" on the today screen? or how can I pick and choose which icons I want on the today screen? Sorry if that's a newbie question but they don't show up on the settings/today panel.

Re: NexVision's HULK ROM GPS_RevA

I like all the new icons on the top bar but I noticed something interesting. I received an MMS (which sprint handles buy sending you a link in an sms) and I got a new notification icon which looks like an envelope with something orange or yellow in front of it. S2U2 shows that I have one unread message but I have everything marked as read.
I have seen other roms with MMS inbox enabled. Is there anyway to do this on this rom?

Do you have a rom without the carrier in it? I have a CAb setup to work with Cricket. But I need a rom without carrier.

Re: NexVision's HULK ROM GPS_RevA

I have never been a fan of big ROM's

Coming from Mogul-ville I suppose I was always jealous that some people could mess around with all the new and fun applications to see what they would do.

Reality was, I never had to reboot my Mogul,... I was too busy flashing it every two days,... because I'd undoubtedly put something on it that didn't play nice with other things.

Then I got my Vogue,... wow all that space!! all those applications that can run simultaneously,... an 8 gig SD card,... I decided WHY NOT!! So I tried out this ROM.

WOW - I mean double WOWZER!! I LOVE IT!!

It's snappy fast. It's got more applications than I would ever use,... but WHO CARES!! As long as it all works, right!!

Keep up the good work - let the "HULK-MANIA" Begin!

Re: NexVision's HULK ROM GPS_RevA

The first ROM I ever flashed was the Nexvision Hybrid ROM on my mogul. The exe. made it easy for a new user. I was blown away at all the goodies included and it ran well. When I saw that Nex had created a ROM for the vogue. I took out my old, inactive Vogue and flashed it so I could see how everything flowed. Afterwards, I switched my service back to my Vogue so I could get the full effect. I tried several ROMS on my vogue after that and the final outcome was to flash right back to the Hulk ROM. The only issue I was having was getting GPS locks. After running PPST in the Windows folder as mentioned in one of the Stickys which was started by Dew.Man, (thanks for that Dew.Man) the GPS is locking like no other.
Major props to Nexvision for creating ROMS that have so much for everyone and function well. Keep up the awesome work.

Re: NexVision's HULK ROM GPS_RevA

Hi Nex,
Which file did you use to control the volume in the earpiece? For example, I went to change out the audiopara.csv file but it wasn't in the windows directory and I need my earpiece to be louder.
