I got the unlocker to work, then i started the RUU alltel flashing, got struck at 11%, waited for it to resume, it gave me an error#262, recovered by disconnecting and removing teh battery, and now i am struck on the tricolor screen...altel ruu says invalid device, etc. my mistake was i did not run ruu on vista as administrator

...how do i get out of the tricolor screen now?/

**EDIT: i wud advise everybdy using vista to pls follow darkflame808's instructions here and flash using the sd card, it was a breeze, and wayyy quicker. i am all done with gps lock in <5 secs.

I reinstalled Voice Commander under \program files\ and changed the registry to link the new location. I still can't get incoming and outgoing phone calls to go through my Bluetooth headset whenever I connect my Touch to my car stereo...

Any suggestions?

Okay I now have the rom and it looks great for the most part everything seems to be working fine. Except for the cube when I click internet explorer, IM and the music store I get the following message (The file "cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found.) Can someone help me out with this?

Also I am having the same problem that others seems to be having with the GPS and locating a satellite... Need help with this as well. I have read every message on here tried everything nothing seems to work. I may have done something wrong I just don't know what. I followed the instructions to the tee....

This is what I have HTC Touch with Radio version 3.37.10 I am not sure what SPL I think its 2.31 or something like that (how do I find out what spl I have?)

Also I tried installing that PPSt thing everyone is talking about and when I ran it on my phone it said that that it was unsuccessful.

Can someone please help me out? I know it has been addressed several times I really would like to get this GPS working... I have been up since 4:30am EST trying to get this done... Thanks again for all of your help...

to find what spl u have, go to the soft bootloader screen by pressing the power&camera button, and inserting the stylus in the soft reset slot. i tricolor screen wud appear, where u can see the spl no. as far as i know, u shud be on 2.31.
Was teh install of ppst suucessfull? did u install it on the device? if yes the did u go to windows folder, click on show all files, and then try running the ppst.exe again, if this is wat u did already, i wud suggest reinstalling from the ppst cab.
regarding teh cube shortcuts not working, i dont use teh cube that much, but u can download the cube customizer and rework the file paths. hope this helps.

Thanks, I am running SPL 2.31... If I'm not mistaken that's what I should have correct??? As far as the cube goes I may just do what you suggested...

For the TouchFlo cube problem, you can edit the shortcut locations in the registry found here:
HKLM/Software/HTC/Biotouch/Aplauncher
Worked great for me.
There are App0-App5 for the 6 cubes on the app launcher. I'm sure you can figure out which is which.

Forgot to mention after you do the registry changes you'll have to do a soft reset for changes to take effect.

Did you try it while running the Sprint leaked ROM or a custom one? I did it while running the sprint leaked ROM and it ran without probs.
