Updated!! (5/18/08) ALMOST OEM 6.1 Sprint Vogue ROM **V.2.1** with Working GPS/Rev A.

Should the packet dial string be #777 or #778 in the EPST data paramaters? I was able to get into the program to enable rev a but curious if i needed to change the Packet dial string?

For some reason, the file is showing as corrupted when I try to unrar it. Is the ROM posted somewhere else? I couldn't find it on the FTP.

still can't get the random access HTC .cab working on this rom...anyone have that working? Have the .cab? Thanks!

p.s.- if ANYONE gets Jivetalk, or HTC Home customizer working, please tell me how you did it! Those two don't work for me....

p.s.s.- also, if anyone knows how to find the right s2u2 regkey to change the background, please post how, I really want to change my background, but can't find the file path for it...

p.s.s.s. - or the Random Access .cab working! Everytime I install it says it doesn't have the right permissions...

Well I finally got this rom installed... Tho, it seems to be quite unfinished... this is my first custom rom tho so maybe its better than others but problems I've seen so far:

- aGPS took over a minute to find satellites
- EVDO is strong in my area. I had my second line clamshell on Rev 0 going 100x faster than the alleged EVDO Rev A on the Touch
- The phone thinks it is an "HTC MOGUL". Sprint homepage and Gmail app both agree.
- In TouchFlo, the On Demand, IM, & Software store are all broken links
- On Today screen, the Live Search icon is broken
- The Processor speed is listing as 380MHZ. What happened to the 400Mhz?

That may not out weigh the features that were added. But somethings to look at for version 2.2

Gonna have to stick with OMJ's 5/29/08 build for now

Need help!!! I am currently running the rom on this thread which I must say is awsome... However it did not come with Sprint Music store... Can someone tell me how to download it? BTW GPS is still working great... Thanks to everyone on here who helped me fix it... =D>


Also before I upgraded to this rom I was using a program call transcriber which allowed me to write on my screen and then it transcriibed what I wrote into text. This worked really well for me when it came to texting from my touch and would like to have it again. Can someone help me find that as well...

What version of s2u2 is installed in this rom? A_C just released 1.03 a few days ago and I don't want to flash something with outdated software. Also, how long does the gps lock take in general? I'm afraid I've gotten spoiled using JD's rom and getting 20 second locks.

GPS locks quicker than JD's rom. Obviously, this rom was released before the S2U2 update-- so yes, it's outdated. Stay with JD's rom. I used this rom for two weeks but switched to OMJ's out of frustration because there were many minor bugs. Ex. broken links, out of sync, screen frezze when trying to sync.
