To create LNK files manually:
Create an empty txt file:
-File--> New --> Text Document
Name the file eg "MusicID.lnk" ( windows should complain about changing the extension)
Open Notepad:
Start--> Run --> notepad
Drag & Drop LNK file into notepad, enter the following:
Code:

36#"\Program Files\MusicID\MusicID.exe"
36 = Total # of characters in path, including quotes, seems ok if this is more that total... not sure of effects.

Then just copy that file as normal in initflashfiles.txt

Thanks. Well at least there is a way! But I'm starting to question why I am doing this. :silent:

I think we should add the following

Manilla 2D
QVGA youtube player

I will load these up a little later, i need to run to town, both of these would be great in some of the kitchens. Great work is happening over at XDA

I almost liked the Manilla 2d, so I had to get right on that!

Here it is folks:

OEM_XDA-Team_Manilla2D.....................Manilla 2D QVGA

Some OEMs can be installed via NuePackageInstaller
otherwize, just drop in USER_OEM folder of kitchen (or OEM folder depending on kitchen)

Okay attach is 3 more files that you need to have if you want to cook manilla 2d into a rom, it is the following files

Audio Manager 2.0
Youtube Player (QVGA)
Camera Album 2

These are all diamond style apps, and I must say they look great, and when used with manilla, it really makes the Vogue an entire new phone with all new possiblities.

Thanks rstoguy for all your hard work.

did you include this patch file in this OEM so that is allows for custom weather? if you didnt do that, would you mind updating it, I think anyone that wants custom weather might benefit if you were to do that.

No, I haven't read the thread yet. With this file, you can just unzip it and overwrite the file in the above OEM. I see they also have another update this morning...Is A_C on that team? :)

lol lmao i guess cuz this is still in development so it's constantly being updated. but they made it noob friendly though. you'd only have to install 2 cab files. do you think you can oem both of them? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=425694

I'll take my brain into work and see if I can get a handle on everything needed for this... I installed the one cab and thought I was good....I need more time off! :) I'll see if I can upload an OEM this evening with everything in it...
