I know. Out of 10 CABS, OEMizer only was able to create 1 OEM for me. I've been using Ervius Package creator but I haven't quite gotten the hang of the shortcut creation and I can't find any good documentation. They options are there, but I'm just not sure how to use them. :)

But I've only created a dozen ROMS today.. so I'm just getting warmed up. LOL

Figured it out... well at least I created the OEM with a working link. Still have some questions for rstoyguy guy..... like, do the links HAVE TO BE created in the Ervius Package Creator????

No, single .exe OEMs I do create them there. More complicated OEM's like memmaid I copied the .lnk files from the device into the OEM and manually added them to initflashfiles.txt.

Aha! I think I got it. I was trying to create the links within the OEM and it would just link to the EXE in the same OEM folder. ](*,)

I made another OEM for VisualGPS and I'm going to TRY and force the shortcut into my \Programs\GPS Navigation\ folder. We'll see if I got this down.

Well I think I understand how to manipulate program groups and shortcuts now... manually. But I sure don't the options in Package Creator. Unless I select "Default" I seem to always get a duplicate link error. So I just select default and then go into initflashfiles and move the link where I want it.

Lately, I haven't kept the same ROM for more than an hour! LOL

I may have to buy another phone just so I can keep cooking.... or join a support group! The 1st step is admitting we're powerless over the flashy thing.
