Go to Task Manager under System and select the Button tab at the bottom. That is where you select how the X button works. Hope this helps!

Thanks for everything. I've succesfully installed the Verizon Full Custom. Had to contact VZ customer support as I had a problem with authentication of my phone for calling. I have had good success with GPS after the initial aquisition which took some time.

I've had very mixed results with data speed and some crashing in IE. Didn't I read that you had put Opera in at one point? Did you remove it for a reason? Should it indicate to me in some way that it is functioning in Rev A or is this just a function of location and signal strength?

The leaked sprint rom does come w/ Opera, and I did include it in the 1st OEM sprint version, but I dropped it from all others, cuz I heard there were newer/better Opera versions out there. If you want it, here it is extracted from the leaked rom....

the only way I've heard to verify Rev A, is by doing a speed test....most ppl test by tethering & going to speedtest.net

stuck? that's what u want....3d position....you have use a map app like google or live search or GPS today to see your position on a map....GPS viewer does not show a map.

OK! touch is not even turning on after the rom installation, did the hard reset, no avail. Looks like second is bricked too.

sounds like u did not flash the leaked rom.....u MUST do this to upgrade your radio to 3.37.15! download the leaked rom & flash, dont let the carrier customization run after initial bootup.

fyi---when you are in bootloader mode, Activesync will not be synced, but activesync is required.....when you go through the unlock process, yes, you sync w/ activesync, but once it's done & puts u in bootloader, you will not be synced w/ activesync.

i set up my yahoo email with the sprint mobile email program. i noticed when i click on the email icon on the today screen, it takes me to a screen where i can select one of four options (text messages, pics and video, yahoo, and setup e-mail). does anyone know how to skip that screen and make the today email icon take me directly to my yahoo inbox?

click on the email icon, then click on menu\options....near the bottum, uncheck "display account picker..."

negative....that's why the instructions in post #1 say to unlock, then flash the leaked rom to upgrade your radio.

man, yer just askin for another brick, lol....dont flash the Alltel rom, flash the leaked Sprint from post #1....just do that for now, and let your poor phone relax for a couple days.

Also, your phone is not waking up when in standby, cuz you flashed back to the stock 6.0 rom & you are unlocked w/ 2.31, which is for GPS roms only.

MAKE SURE YOU SOFT RESET B4 CARRIER CUSTOMIZATION!

*Before flashing this rom....*

-unlock w/ ImCokeMan's v2.31 unlocker

-Flash the leaked rom .exe to upgrade your radio to 3.37.15 (skip post-flash Customization if you're non-Sprint)(If you are a Sprint user, let the Customization run, then once phone has booted, run \Windows\PPST.exe to upgrade your PRI)

Yes, flashing should fix it. Or with your current rom try:

HKEY_Current_User\ControlPanel\Phone
sleep = 1 ;turns sleep mode off
