Just wanted to report that GPS is working pretty well for me. I am on a bell touch in Halifax Nova Scotia (really aliant). I have the 3.35 titan radio and OMJ's bell rom. I have the gpskickstart cab installed (Rstoyguy's original cab......ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/OM..._GPSEnable.cab)
and I have also done the reg edit to the SUPL AGPS (GPSmode from 2-->4). I also have it set to not go to sleep when the gps is turned on via gps today (somewhere in the gps today settings) because I have heard that people were having problems with standby.

From a soft reset I open up GPS today (by sliding it over) and my data connection turns on automatically (I have it set to do that within the GPS today settings). It takes about 60 seconds to show some sats on the GPS today plugin (on the today screen), usually around 5 or 6. Then I open up the gps today maps, google maps or the cool telenav program included in this rom. GPS works really well - either when walking outside or even in my car driving around (I am careful I promise).

I have been testing this out yesterday and today with the following method. Turn on gps, mess around with googlemaps etc., turn off gps, put the phone in standby anywhere from 30 mins to a few hours, turn the phone back on, turn the gps back on, mess around etc. It seems to work well everytime.

I was previously using gpsviewer to "prime" the gps and it seemed to work also but I think it was taking longer.

I soft reset a couple times while I was testing the gps but I'm pretty sure this way has been giving me consistent gps locks.

Not saying that this is new information by any means, but just wanted to let people know that the combination of OMJ's rom (very good btw), the titan 3.35 radio, the gpskickstart cab, and the regedit seem to be working well for me. If anybody is having trouble getting locks then maybe give this a try, hope it helps somebody out there,

I have done steps 1-12 of "UPGRADING SPRINT TOUCH TO REV. A" and my sprint touch is working fine. I wanna install this rom but im not sure if I need to run the unlocker again or just run this rom? Thanks for your help.

I'm sorry if I missed it, but is there a cab to get the pic messaging back on the Alltel Touch. Other than that I'm loving this.

Upon a soft reset? I notice too, usually starts happening after I install Spb Phone Suite, or my mp3 player. Haven't narrowed it down, but I think it is the Phone suite. Are you running that too?

no i'm not running those, basically all i have is the stuff that came with the rom. I remember in my axim days there was a trick to get it to stop coming up where you had to make a fake server or something like that. Hopefully we wont have to resort to that but.....
