OMJ's WM6.1 Custom Touch ROM w/ UC, GPS, REV A! Updated 5/29/08

Hrm, is it just me, or is the phone application not running in the background when you come back from a soft-reset?

I hit the physical green phone button, and nothing happens... If I manually start the phone application, then it all works fine from that point on. I can then bring it back just by hitting the physical button.

Anyone know how to change this?

Ok maybe someone can help me out. I have the sprint touch and i have read the instructions carefully. I installed the rom to upgrade the radio. It went fine and is working. I am now trying to install the OJM.WM6.1.GPS.SPRINT.CUSTOM.v2.exe file and when i run the ROM update utility it begins fine and when i get the color bars on my phone right before it goes to the progress bar the computer says the usb isnt recognized. Has anyone else had this problem? If i take the battery out and put it back in it runs fine. I should mention i am running XP and it is a sprint touch. Any help would be appreciated, Thank you

When I flash OMJ roms (I've flashed a few) I hear my usb disconnect but then after a few it reconnects. To me it seems like there is a delay between the color bars and the progress bars during the flash process. Just about the time I think something is wrong the progress bar starts to move and I have a successful flash.

Are you unplugging your phone at that point? Have you had a successful flash on your phone?

I hear the usb sound like it disconnects and then i get the popup saying usb malfunctioned or something and it does go to the d/l bar but stays at 0% for a little then says it didnt work. Ive restarted the pc and cant think of what else it can be. The radio update worked just fine but now i cant get these to work i tried both of them. At least the phones not bricked. And GPS is working lol. But id like to install OMJ's and get it running like it should be.

I did not run the unlocker, It said we may not need to if it is a sprint phone. Should i start over and do it using the unlocker ?

Am I the only one who did not have a problem with OMJ's ROM????

This damn thing was the first GPS ROM that ran for me flawlessly.

Very simple, this is what I did...

1. Install the Sprint leaked ROM (being a Sprint user, LET IT RUN THROUGH ITS CUSTOMIZATION)

2. Install Coke's 2.31 unlocker

3. Install OMJ's ROM

THAT'S IT! HEAVENLY BLISS!!!!

I re-read your posts....it looks like you've already flashed the leaked rom.....which I dont believe sprint users need to be unlocked for.....but the flash any custom, you MUST be unlocked.....2.31 for GPS roms, 0.40 for non-GPS roms.

so in short, yes, run the 2.31 unlocker 1st, then mine.
