OMJ's WM6.1 Custom Touch ROM w/ UC, GPS, REV A! Updated 5/29/08

I finally got the upgrade done. Looks like a great ROM OMJ. Thanks!!

The only issue I'm having (as well as some others having the same issue) is that when after making a call with my BT headset and then hanging up, the ringer profile switches to the next profile and cycles through them as I make more calls. Very frustrating. this happened with another 6.1 ROM before the GPS / REVA update.

Any ideas?

having trouble geting the gps to work. in google maps it says my phon does not support the feature

also how can i change the keyboard color of touchpal to the blue? ( i know i have to D it from the site, but how do i go about doing it n the PPC)

You're probably trying to use My Location, which it does not support.
Make sure you have Use GPS selected.

i still can't find the roaming options on my phone. should i just reflash?

I like the idea of having TouchPal v3 cooked into the ROM, but now I can't install their ClassicSkin.cab file. I don't like the new skins at all, and I can't figure out where to install skins to. Any help?

I was gonna do up another look at the oem tonight for TP3. (with a little more brainpower now...) It will retain the directory structure of the original cab and only be for qvga. Thus allowing the skins to be installed. It will be up to omj to update the rom to v2.1. I've already disected it, I just have to make it so it will move the files to where they should be in the initflashfiles.

Here is a link to the one I labored on with the Dreamskin (default) Built-in. Then you can skin it! The rom will have to be re-touched...

I uploaded the Unlocker and the did the 6.1 upgrade and now my Touch is stuck at the screen with "PPCGeeks and PPCKitchen.org present" with the chef in the lower left corner. I guess my first question is this now a brick? If not what are my options.

The phone is a Sprint phone.

What radio version is loaded? You need 3.xx. Which unlocker? If you have unlocker .40 then load 2.31 and reboot. Otherwise...

1) Take the battery out for 10 sec.
2) Do a hard reset (Green + Red button + reset button)

If that doesn't fix it you can enter the bootloader and reflash:
Power + Camera button + Resest
