when i have a contact selected, hit menu, i see a menu item of dashes "---", when i click on it, i get an error "Failed to load SAPI or ContactSDMenuRes dll!"

randomaccess is missing as well...

The cab Rstoyguy made has 3 files that are already in the rom, I modified the cab, give this one a try 1st....

it ran real smooth and it also supports jive talk, which is by FAR the best im client out.. jus throwing it at ya in case you wanted to check it out.. we cant run jive talk on your rom.. but im tellin ya, its def worth it.. plus i noticed a lot of other handy bonuses.. check it out an tell me what ya think

thx, I may try this in my kitchen, but remember, these roms in this thread are from the official ppcgeeks kitchen.....they decide which build they will use, and it sounds like 5.2.19209 is what most chefs are going with.....there is another reason for the 19209 but is top secret....lol

sounds like an isolated issue, not seeing that here, you may want to hard reset.

Yeah, I don't know what happened/. I was getting upwards of 6 or 7 satelites last night inside my house. It would even update when I moved around, but like you guys, today, nothing. Crap.

Strange thing happened to me. I ran your rom and went right into the gps on the today screen it automatically and connected to 8 satelites no problem. I than started to d/l my cabs and i had to soft reset. came back and went to active sync. locked uup my phone. soft reset same thing lock went to today screen active sync start locked up again. no big deal. start over and d/l rom again and now gps wont work. i even tried the gps cab on page 10. now im stuck with no gps

Last night I flashed over to OMJ rom from using JD's rom. I used JD's rom all day yesterday without any gps problems.

After flashing OMJ rom I wasn't able to connect to gps. I installed both GPSKickStart and GPSKickStart_GPSEnable cab's. After doing this last night I was able to get GPS and use Telenav and all the other gps programs. This morning I can't get a lock.

A couple things about the rom. I've been using OMJ pre-gps roms for about 4 months without any problems. I really like the start menu and the extras in the rom. That's why I flashed back to this rom when I saw it was recooked. I don't think I ever had to do a soft reset with OMJ rom in the past. It worked GREAT.

I haven't had time to really use the apps since I flashed the new rom but I do notice my phone app keeps popping up. It seems like when I close a program the phone app pops up.

The other thing is Telenav. SprintNav is missing some of the menu choices that are offered with the Telenav software. The problem is the Telenav looks for a BT GPS. I installed the cab for the Telenav ATT Tilt and it works great (when I get a GPS lock) and also has all the menu items. (Telenav gives you zoom, show traffic under the menu of 2D map. Sprint doesn't)
Maybe you could cook the rom without the navigation software or try using the ATT cab.

The rom is great, however when its sleeping and I get a few text message the phone locks up (Verizon Load)

Hey OMJ, thanks for all your work... Very interesting, going from stock to OMJ 6.1 to brick to unbrick and back to your latest version whew... really enjoy your work.

BTW... heard of any probs with bluetooth? I have both the Jawbone and the BlueAnt v3.4 the blueant connects but unusable, the Jawbone works great with it. Too bAd... I prefer the blueant...
