Re: Titan 3.35.04 radio
First off I only had people use the hybrid rom because that was the rom I was working on when I upgraded the drivers they come from a 3.35 titan rom with the radio not trying to be rude but maybe you guys should check other forums to see what people are doing with thes roms ........ the vogue community is very very far behind

Re: Titan 3.35.04 radio
I see much better GPS performance using the hybrid rom and 3.35.04 radio. It picks up a location pretty quick with a gps within about 1-2 km then it will zero in on my location as it locks in the sats. I had very inconsistant results with the test rom. I still find the location is not as accurate as my bt gps but definately an improvement.
Thanks for all your hardwork JD. |

As evidence to support my claim I opened google maps and this time when it read GPS Active (0) it no longer teleported me back to Africa. I am now in Topeka Kansas, and I have not been to Topeka in over a year (wouldn't mind never going back, not much to see). Topeka is roughly 30 miles west of where I am. I am guessing that this proves aGPS is active and working on this device and google's servers are gathering information as we use it. I am guessing that they can tell something is wrong when it shows a phone in the middle of the ocean and I am guessing they are transmitting some GPS data to help them build their databases of network triangulation data and corresponding locations. I am open to rebuttals and am looking forward to hear any comments. |

I saw consistent improvement in GPS and zippo change in REV-A and I'm supposedly in a solid REV-A area. I've only tested with 3 bars and get 1250 kb/s on either radio or ROM. Which isn't bad but the ROMs didn't change it. I have not been able to tether in a 4/5 bar area yet. I expect it will go higher with better signal. I had gotton over 1000 kb before with the stock sprint ROM but I was not testing tethered to speedtest.net I used DSL reports.com in the past.
