im still trying to see what the problem is with installin the cube, but so far it seems to be that the new alltel rom had a newer version of the cube installed, however i see that even though that MAY cause the old cube to be freezing, it wouldnt let it pop up in the first place...i messed with registry keys all night and im stumped. i think it could also be the fact that its a clumped rom, meaning titan and other devices put together, so it may be that we need to install a cube meant for those devices as there might not be registry settings available.

another thing, ive had absoloutely no problems getting the contacts tab on the HTC Home plugin to work. It works flawlessly after installing the cab that i posted.

ill get back to you guys if i find anything...

None taken. I just found it and thought it would be a handy temporary replacement until someone gets the cube fixed. I would look into it but would more than likely screw something up and really don't have the time to deal with fixing it, I lost last weekend to no internet because I forgot to skip alltel cust and didn't have a stock Sprint rom on my computer. I was on vacation and needed the tethering to work to get online.

If I am not mistaken the titan can run a cube? No? How are they doing it? Has someone searched the titan forum to look for the cab they use to install the cube? Does it work? Just brainstorming some thoughts.

Instead of soft-resetting, try the new trick of putting your phone in flight mode then taking it off of flight mode (basically rebooting the radio without a soft-reset). I haven't tried that yet, but it should be quicker than a soft reset.

Sorry for the double post but just noticed this.

What is going on with the Touch Keyboard? Sometimes it works and others it only lets you type numbers or one press is "a" and two presses is "as" in abc or "aa" in T9.

Any thoughts

Mostly I notice it in skyfire. Actually now in PIE too.

Thanks for the Tip I'll try that next time.

EDIT: Just hung, tried AirPlane mode and it didn't get it back. After soft reset I get a "aGPS" position almost instantly and then 30sec to minute later I get 4-5 sats. Once I get a "agps" position and I know I have clear sky I get get sats in under a minute every time. If I do it inside it will take a while sometimes. Depends on time of day and how close to window etc.

New issue. Is anyone else having the problem that all old sms are deleted every soft reset?

Yup, it looks like mine is doing that too, I just never noticed it before. I don't have a reason to save them anyway, but that should get fixed.

My recent calls are all there since yesterday and I have done several soft resets.
