WM6.1 19701 CHS Released, Rev.A and GPS support

i dont trust chinese rom like i trust a chinese toy contaminated with lead!
they probably hacked the rom to listen to our calls, locate us via onboard gps, and keylog the phone..

at least if i was a chinese hacker i'd do it

I've used this rom, it has GPS working and it is an official release. The GPS was not activated after by porting over files from other phones but already activated in the official release. Maybe something here would be able to help those who are have GPS problems with the JD roms, like when it no longer works and then after a while works again.

How did you get it over to english? I'm using it in chinese which isn't too much of a problem but would like to have it in english.

Change China code to English code 0409 as stated earlier, simple.

yes, I know it was stated earlier to change the code to 0409, but where do you change the code? That's where I'm lost, I don't what is meant about changing the code in SYS. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

All langs with code 0809 change to 0409, look in the sys folder and you will see China Code if I remember 25 folders, change them and their .dlls. to 0409.

Just noticed this. What does this do? Does it make it so we can use it in english? If so, how do we use it? I've already flashed the rom and am using it in chinese, but would prefer to have it in english. any help would be appreciated, thanks.
