Maybe its bc i have a 4GB SDHC card? Anyone else having this problem?

I have am 8bg card and I am not having that problem.

When I used to go to GPS Viewer it would take a while for it to find the GPS - now if I start GPS viewer - set it to COM 4 (I jack up the baudrate - not sure if it matters much) and then click on Open GPS - it nearly finds the info instantly. THen WITH GPS VIEWER OPEN (not exiting it) - I switch to google maps or live seach and it can instantly find my location via GPS.

Hopefully someone will figure out a batch file or some such thing that does those things for GPS Viewer without having to go through GPS viewer, changing the drop downs etc so that it is a little less involved but you gotta appreciate the work like Mustan-Tech and the like are doing so that idiots like me can have a working GPS in the first place.
Thanks for your tip, Boe. But my GPS still doesn't work. I guess it's broken or something. And I'd better stop standing in the cold before I catch one.

So you don't get anything on the screen in GPS viewer if you set it to COM4 and 4800 and say open GPS -nothing happens?

also for those complaining about apps included that require registration. you need to complain to the companies that make them, if you dont want to pay for them, or else get the basic rom. this guy is already spending his free time making a nice rom for you, dont complain that he isnt running a warez site.

previous page in my post #115 has a link to this as well, if you need a dl.
Well, that battery meter is not part of the win 6.1, its part of this specific rom... but I can't really tell why I don't like it... I just don't... and I don't use it either... so I rather have a few free kb out of the memory.

Great ROM by the way, fast, clean... but I miss the games... and the original htc phone keypad... but that I can live without...

Battery meter is an add on not part of wm 6.1. I too dislike it so removed it from my startup.

That's correct. And I check the GPS Settings under Settings/System as well to make sure it is COM4 and 4800. And the hardware port is set to "None".

I tried GPS Viewer, VisualGPSce, Google Maps and Tom Tom 6.032. None of them can get anything. Not even a hint of reception.
