Thanks a lot. Now my speeds suck.

That info should probably be in the Speedtest FAQ.

dHarvey Black Vista ROm 2.9; "Rev A: Enabled"

"Rev A: Disabled" Test 1

"Rev A: Disabled" Test 2

From the looks of it, Disabled is the new Enabled.

Thats because its actually the opposite. When it says "Rev A: Enabled", that means Rev A is actually disabled, and you have to click on Enabled to actually activate(Enable) it. Hence the big difference in speeds. The same goes for Vice Versa.

Sure about this? That seems strange.

Mine says Item: Rev. A - Setting: Enable.

So you are saying if I set the setting to Disable, it enables it?

Doesn't seem right to me.

Yes. Im positive. I know its strange but it is what it is...

A lot of chefs actually reversed it in their custom ROM's so that it is less confusing to the end user.

i wouldnt recommend it. since the lastest official rom, sprint has corrected the status of evdo status indicator. if you still going to try it, i recommend try to benchmark your bandwidth at speedtest.net
