You've already flashed ImCokeMan's new bootloader to your phone?

Re: How-To Get GPS/Rev A on Sprint Touch

okay ive tested and tried the rom with a bell touch and it works perfectly. you have to make SURE that you SOFT RESET BEFORE the customization begins, or when it says "customizing settings in 3 seconds "ok" " and you'll be fine. ive tested google maps, but will be trying garmin xt tonight....thanks to imcokeman and everyone else too who helped make this possible...

mixxy, I'm on Bell as well. Does your internet work as well with Rev A? I read some others on Bell weren't able to get data working. I would take the plunge as that would mean having 1 thing less to carry to have gps but if I lose data then I'd rather just carry that gps puck.

I'm on Bell - Data works IE works.

But one question Mine's still fubar... GPS that is - I get an error in dotfred's Dev. Man. relating to gpsdaemonservice.dll (GPS Daemon Service (GPC1: )) - Says the file isn't there in the windows folder where I put it - and sofar because of that Me thinks that's why nothong wants to see my GPS.

Would it be safe to try again (I.E. Run thru these steps all over?)

Hmm, well I flashed to Alltel for the fourth time (this time on XP, not Vista) and my internet is finally working. BUT... the GPS cab STILL doesn't install after I a) install the 3 unlock (or security) files b) soft reset c) attempt to install GPS cab. I'm stumped, I've solvedn the internet problem (and I don't quite know how I did it) but the GPS issue sticks... btw I'm on Bell, for those who haven't read my other posts.

EDIT: AHH! I redownloaded the GPS cab, installed it on device memory, then it ran!

Ok, So I had internet working, thenn once I redownloaded the GPS cab it worked, so I installed it, it worked fine, but RIGHT as soon as I tried to test the GPS, my internet just suddenly stopped working... now it won't work. I got it to load one page in IE, but then it quit on me... This is kinda frustrating, I want the Rev A radio and GPS, but this is... haha, silly.

Re: How-To Get GPS/Rev A on Sprint Touch

sorry, should've read till the end since I think my question was answered by psweitzer. psweitzer, did you flash alltel's rom and then jd's rom and now have data and gps? If you did let me know, I just want to be really sure. does anyone know if I can flash back to factory settings in case I have to bring it in for service?
