ya, only file, i formatted it fresh everytime to fat32, then copied the file over to it, using the multiple file names you guys provided, im really stumped

Well, the only thing left to do is try the mtty app and use the commands
cmd> set 16 0
cmd> task 8

Hoby was pretty stuck, and that worked for him. I'll try to upload the mtty.exe app and post the link if you can't find it.

i found the app, but i think its a old one, if you could post the link and file link that would be great, thank you for all your help

I'm on my laptop now and I can't find the link for the one I used earlier, but the version doesn't matter much.

the one i have connects via comm port 4, i can paste in the app, but the keyboard seems to be disabled when i try to type in the program, it doesnt freeze or anything, but no letters or numbers or enter key work, its wierd, unless i just dont know how to use the program

You have to disable usb connections in activesync first, and then plug in your phone and run the app, it should let you choose usb. If usb doesn't showup, unplug and replug. (I got this info from a tutorial for another phone, but I didn't find it when I searched for mtty)
