No issues using it all day. I work in PA and live in NJ and had no issues moving between towers either. All calls have been crystal clear too. My Radio is 3.37. Also, I just had to post this screenshot of a mobile speed test using opera mini beta with Esmertic Jbed 200802223.1

That is 2411 kbps!!!!!! Not connected to PC

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled

youre not going to get a real speed test result using a server based browser like opera mini or skyfire, the speed tests are actually testing the servers speed.. not your phone.
so its best to use pie.. but me, i hook my phone to my pc as a modem and do a speed test for a more reliable result.

okay, ive noticed this so far..
if you dont use gps for a while it definately turns off.
when you wanna fire up a map you have to wait about 2 min for a lock.. once you get that lock you can close and open gps apps many times and you wont have to wait for a lock. Theres obviously a timer that tells the gps to turn off when not being used...

Thanks Torx. I just tested connected to my laptop. Here is the result:

Just as a test, I drove 45 miles home from work with GPS on the whole way tracking my route via Live Search. It never stopped. I did notice earlier though that it does go off if not being used. I just started the GPS finder software and then went back to live search which took less than 20 seconds for a lock.

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled

Ok the GPS is a no go for me. I tried the Alltel ROM with the files and JD's, Rev A worked perfectly on both but neither could start the GPS, Google Maps searched for about 15min, kept telling me that it was unable to find satellites, I was outside. I used GPS test and this is what I keep seeing ..

HDOP 0.00 | FIX 1D
-------------------------
GPS Starting up
-------------------------

And neither Live search nor Google maps can find it. Google maps actually showed that I am just off the coast of Ghana. I used the QuickGPS cab and updated it, and still nada
