With JD's new rom it should just work. I forgot to hard reset from going from his old one to his new on i think.. which is probably a part of it since i had the gps enabler installed on the old one. Its the "SPEED DIALING (the application that allows you to use the voice commandos to make calls or to execute applications)"

If you've been on a voice command custom rom you haven't seen that. Its the one where you have to make voice tags for everything.

As for gps i'm working on it right now.. you on JD's rom?

i got everything to work on my vzw xv6900 but it says im on the old weaver trail?!? in Falls Lake, NC... which i guess its somewhat close cause im in south part of Va in norfolk...

yes im on jds rom and installed "HTC_GPS_Enable_for_Titan_3.35.cab"
it gave me a "could not connect to gps on com4" in live..
didnt do anything so im uninstalling it

you should not have added the cab I added the gps drivers to the rom already they even start on their own

holy eff! its working!! locked onto 6 sats so far, too about 2 minutes to lock.
very accurate
didnt have to install anything after the hard reset!

Did you change any settings? Like set the com port to com4? And if you did is that software or hardware com port?

Edit: Also what program locked for you? google maps? windows live?

Garmin XT works, Sprint Navigation works, no luck setting up Tom Tom though yet..

Didn't drive yet to see if it can keep up...
