Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled
I just got my internet working on JD's ROM by going into Phone Settings, Services, Internet, Get Settings, then running a client-initiated IOTA.
As someone else stated though, it doesn't look like JD's has everything to get GPS working. Using a task manager, I can see the GPD device, but not the service (even after running the 1,2,3 files and the gps cab).

This is exactly what I did on my Alltel Touch.. The only other step is turn location on... After the last reset, I launched google maps, and it immediately went to seeking sats.. About 3-4 minutes later it had me locked within about 15 feet. Since then, I have reset the device a couple of times just to test, and google maps acquires a lock in less than a minute now. Windows live works as well.. |

If your upstream is faster than 100/200 or so, then you're on Rev A! |

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled
So has anyone gotten the GPS to work using JD's rom from this thread? I've tried and can't make it work at all. GPS was working with the altell rom, but not with JD's...

No. Nobody has gotten GPS to work on JD's ROM. Even Mindfrost is going back to the Alltel ROM.
