In my house it will pick up up to 7 so far, but will not connect to any it just keeps cycling through them because the signal is to low

download and install IMCokeman 2.31 unlocker, and you have to flash the whole rom, if you flash just the radio it will brick your phone. An when done do not let the customization run, otherwise your internet will not work.

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled

QuickGPS still says "Connection failed" when connecting to the server to get the sat info.

WHen I started VisualGPSce I get the error "Could not initialize communication buffer size"

Maybe I am installing the Unlock Cert's wrong. I use File Explorer, open #1, it flashes something at the top quickly, then goes back to File Explorer. I click #2, the cab installs, I press ok. I click #3, it does the same quick flash as #1, then moves right back to File explorer. Am I installing #1 / 3 right?

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled

Thanks. However after reading the post and seeing that i won't be able to downgrade to the older radio I'm gonna wait a bit more. Especially since I'll probably want to go to a custom rom anyway.

On a side note, amazing how fast this is all happening though, and JD even said he'd have one up with the new radio already. Can't wait... the dropped calls have really been driving me nuts and then holy GPS + Rev A!!!

Hmm try again by installing security files then run cab then shut the phone off instead of soft resetting...btw when i unlocked my phone i got 2 text messages telling me it was successfully unlocked

Tenny,

I did the same thing and had to hard reset too, as you did. Once I did that and followed hotbyz steps, it really works! Also, I extracted the file from winzip on the Touch onto my storage card and ran them there after extraction. maybe you could try that. But you may want to try a 2nd hard reset
