Im so confused, . How do i check my Radio vers #? and all i need to enable gps and reva is the gpstest2.1? (CDMA TOUCH HERE!!!)

I dont need to flash to alltel from first do I? I think i racked my brain reading all the diff roms out there... thanks for your clearification (..could u maybe spell it all out for me , lol)

To check your radio version on your Touch:
go to Start --> Settings --> System Tab --> Device Information ( radio Version - 3rd down)

To answer your question: Yes you do need to flash Alltell ROM first -- READ this Thread http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=24979 <-- READ IT ! someone already did your homework, so you don't have to.

Weird . All updates went great.. REVA nice and fast , use GPSViewer and see 12 sats but never get a Fix on postition.. no lat no long but see all the Sats.?

Hats off the those up created the roms EXCELENT JOB!!!!

Is it safe to tether with this ROM, or do I need to apply fixes? DisableNAI is the only one I can remember from when I had Stock Sprint

I installed the new Alltel update on my Alltel Vogue.. and it now roams in my local area?? any ideas?? Very odd...

I updated my Alltel PPC6800 to the newest ROM and was having the same problem. I tried dialing **228 and pressing option #3 but it told me that I couldn't update my phone this way(which was odd to me cuz I had done it that way with the old ROM)

After doing some investigating, it turned out that my 'Home SID' was listed as '1' instead of what it was supposed to be '1372'

Once I had the Home SID changed to what it was supposed to be, I didn't have the annoying flashing triangle symbol on the Today screen anymore.

I don't know if this is what's wrong with your Vogue....but if it helped at all, feel free to click "Thanks"

Gidday all, after trolling through this thread, does anyone have a list of the Carriers that have offically released what rom for what device?

Has anyone collated this?

Try dialing *228 and press 3 when it picks up.

I did try the *228 option 3 and it worked. No more roaming triangle and no service flash.
