yes if you have not loaded the radio you will be wasting your time with flashing .... the outcome would be that you not only would kill your phone (temporarily) but you will kill off part of the ozone layer which somehow will raise gas prices again ...... do you want that on your conscience

My understanding is that you NEED to load the Alltel ROM successfully first (without the customizations) to get the Radio ROM installed, then you would flash to JD's new 6.1 ROM.

NOOOOOO not the ozone!!!

oh, and I'm guessing this is why last night I couldn't get past the HTC splash on your ROM along with a couple of other people, but the people that had already loaded the Alltel rom (thus upgrading radio) could get it working.
