Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled

I just installed flashvideobundle, and tcmp to see how if there was any difference in the video drivers. Tried a few videos and they played through smoothly without the windows loading symbol. Before this rom videos would stutter, and the windows loading symbol would pop up every few seconds. I'm wondering if they fixed the video drivers in this release as well.

Thanks jak, using 2.31, your beta rom and ruu flash. Flash goes great, I hard reset, then it hangs at HTC/Windows Vista burst style screen. I never ran the Alltel rom. Should I run it first, then flash this rom? TIA...

I suppose it is connecting because the icon on the top bar changes but it is giving me this error message when trying to actually navigate to a website:

"The page cannot be found. Check the name and try again."

As I have also said above, I am also missing the Sprint PCS banner on the home plugin and I have been having these problems since I first upgraded to the Alltel ROM and let customization run.

Maybe your MSID, A-Key have changed, by letting the customizations run the first time. Also can you make a phone call?

I was just going to post that I WAS able to get my current rom to start (with the pre alltel radio) to start with the 2.31 unlocker right after i updated to it... I assumed it would go back to the tri color screen but it did not. I would not try the alltel on the old unlocker!!! Sounds like a you're asking for a brick if you do that... or will have to follow mardukeme's post at least.

I'm currently updating myself, I just confirmed it was the SPL 2.31 on the touch, Flashing as i speak. Just to note it booted after the unlocker was updated and i did not hard reset. I then proceeded to hard reset, let it do customizations, restart, unchecked everything in active sync for it to sync then started the flash process. "

I also recommend, as is mentioned in the titan "easy guide to upgrading" (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=17667) to get the MDN and MSID. I also got my SPL/MSC (code you need to enter to get into ##778#) and ESN (hex and dec).

I have unlocked using 2.31, then I flashed with JD's .nbh. I was inquiring whether I should now try flashing the Alltel .exe, run it, allow customizations, and then flash to the JD test rom, allow customizations, then IOTA.

Oh.. I don't know, sounds like it wouldn't hurt if you're still getting problems. You could also try doing the OEM stock rom and flash to JD's from that... I'd try that first.

I could not get my data to work or my phone to recognize that it was connected to sprint...I was able to load the old bootloader back onto my phone and am currently loading the oem sprint rom to see if it fixes everything

Yes I am able to text so I think it is safe to assume that I should be able to make calls as well. I really want to just get this damn SPL off my phone so I can start over but I can't for the life of me get imcokeman's new bootloader to go away...
