on a mobile speed test i'm getting 1mb/s where before i was only getting 300ish kb/s on my vogue. the mb/s is like my revA XV6800... need to test it hooked up tethered to a laptop...

are you just using the radio or are you using the alltell rom

WoW...my heart almost stopped lol...when it got to 11% my phone went blank and came back on then after another minute went black again than came back on...and did it again...3 times total and then just continued and picked up where it left off...wierd

Just finished booting now...

Whats the reception like with this for those on sprint? I'm willing to try soon (once its been definitely confirmed to work and a guide is posted) due to the enormous amount of dropped calls I get even with the custom roms.

Well honestly, good for you. hope you get a phone you're happy with, that's really what it's all about. My touch has no crashes and I text/email about 1.5k a month (that's what school does to ya) when it was running Official ROMs for 4-5 months before i started flashing. and looks like i'll be flashing a new rom again shortly! ;)

First time around i did not let ext rom run...and internet worked but my pri was still 1.33. Hard resetting now...

Accepted the risk, took the plunge... It's at 32%. My fingers are definitely crossed...

EDIT:: 66%

EDIT:: 80%

EDIT:: Rom Update Complete. Waiting to see if it boots...

Final EDIT:: ROM update completed successfully. Successfully booted and installed Extended ROM.

How do I go about getting the internet and carrier setting for Sprint?

So are you guys running the full release of the altel rom or the rom that has been split up with just the radio and files?
