What is the difference between page pool size anyways?
Also, I can't seem to be able to edit the XML for the weather update any program to use for that ?

Copy to your computer with activesync, edit the file with wordpad, copy back to your ppc

After that, it might be benificial to add it to your sdautorun.txt file to copy whenever you hard reset

Re: Ghettofreeryder v6 roms - Sprint, Telus, Bell

im extremely thrilled about this rom.

i just flashed the generic 613a onto my sprint touch.
but im noticing the connectivity is set at cdma1x (dialup)
and my connection settings is saying "Telus"

is there something i need to do in order to get sprint evdo data properly?
im assuming that since this is a generic i need to install sprint customizations or something??? thanks

EDIT: crap! the latest esmertec java still doesnt allow for fullscreen... is there not a tweak out to make the apps fullscreen? OR do you think youd be able to replace for the latest java manager with fullscreen?
this one is supposed to support 3d and fullscreen.. but its a 2007 build...

Re: Ghettofreeryder v6 roms - Sprint, Telus, Bell

um maybe I am missing something obvious, but after flashing this latest rom (613a) I notice that in the threaded sms app, I am missing the character count at the top I see in other ROMS and which I need to be there.
Is there a registry hack or other setting to get it back? I have the same problem with the latest OMJ build.

I may have to go back to stock 6.0 because I am finding these 6.1 roms to be unstable. Lock ups. But I love the threaded sms, so I thought I'd try these ones for stability. But the lack of the character count is a problem for me.

Any help much appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Ghettofreeryder v6 roms - Sprint, Telus, Bell

yeah, just noticed the lack of character count also, but messages that are too big automatically get broken up by the server, so I am not too woried about it, the one thing that is anoying me, I only use the regular keyboard, and I go into settings and change it not to autocomplete or spell check, but it still shows the black banner with word suggestions. is there anyway to get rid of this? this probably belongs in a different thread, but I was hoping it would get added to future builds.

weird. it should be 160 chars.. But I didn't get it at all. So I might try to flash it again. I won't put up with only 140 chars either.

I went back to stock rom, and discovered it won't play the sound for calendar reminders! Just can't win.

Oh, regarding the messages being split up: yes, I know, but I do not want to be flying 'blind' on that score.

Same here, I see the 140 max =\ . Wish there was a real 200 character max that wont break up
