Unlockers for Custom Roms on Vogue 2.31(GPS) and 0.40(nonGPS) - Page 32

The new unlocker is only for GPS roms, you need to flash a new rom and radio to make use of it. Check the stickies in the upgrades forum

Alternatively, if for some reason you don't like GPS (or want the option to go back to stock hint hint) you can just boot it into the OS and run the old unlocker before it resets itself. Then you'll be back to where you were.

I see, I was making sure things were still kosher through each step before I tried flashing a GPS based rom. But i'll try it out with flasing the Alltel rom right after unlocking to 2.31

ok, im REALLY new to this, i tried to do this, and now my phone also shuts off and doesnt come back unless i reset, what do i do?

the 2.31 unlocker is only for GPS radio/roms, if you still have a stock rom it will have the symptoms you describe. You can either get a new radio/rom for GPS that works with the 2.31 or to use your current rom you'd need to go to the 0.41 unlocker

ok, i installed this ruu so that i can install vogue gps 3.02. what i cant figure out is how to disconnect/reconnect while im in the jump screen. sorry if i sound like such a newb...its cause i am

. any help would be appreciated guys.

Hi,
I need to use the unlocker 2.31, but as per stickied tutorial i cant run the 2.31 with SPL showing 0.40coke and have to run sprint shipped exe to relock the spl to 0.36. I flashed ImCoKeMan's bigstoragesprinttouch.exe to restore to locked 0.36 SPL, but still it is showing 0.40 coke, should i go ahead and use the 2.31 unlocker cos the sticky clearly says it might damage the phone permanently if i do that. help

can someone just tell me how to connect to activesync when your phone is in the red,green, and blue screen?

Activesync won't reconnect when you are in bootloader, but that is OK. It just has to show USB at the bottom.

You never have to relock to upgrade the SPL. The Bigstorage sprint rom i posted is not a shipped exe though and does not include and SPL. Just run the unlocker when you get to the OS. The warning in dharvey's thread was his experience, but relocking etc would serve no useful purpose as far as I can see, just add a little more risk

thanks for the help! i been waiting since 1045am lol. im wondering why my phone messed up...i'll try to load the unlocker again i guess
