YES!!! Thanks so much, it doesn't work with an SDHC card, so use something under 2 gigs if you wanna try it.

Any chance of a relocker for 2.31 or an unlocker that can be overwritten in case we have to send it back for service?

EDIT: Looks like harvey has posted a solution, that the first overwritable unlocker will overwrite the 2.31 unlocker.

When the new Sprint Update comes out, I anticipate wanting to move to that. I was curious if you thought the 2.31 unlocker would work ok with the Sprint Rom upgrade or will there be tweaks necessary?

Shouldn't necessarily need unlocker if you are running just the Sprint Update you are talking about. Having it shouldn't hurt.

BUT if you intend to flash custom ROMs that are developed for the 3.x radio or if you are not a Sprint user and want to flash the Sprint Update then you must use the 2.31 unlocker first.

Thank you Colonel for your diligent and brave testing while my vogue was bricked!
WARNING: this will only work with the 3.xx roms (Alltel EXE only at this point) and may not allow older roms. It will not be overwritten like the 0.40 SPL however so it won't leave you completely bricked like running the alltel exe was doing before this.

BTW: This is an MFG SPL and after flashing the alltel exe you can do SuperCID with rtask a like titan

If I want to go back to an earlier rom (pre-Alltel), do I need to flash the original unlocker and then flash the rom? Will that work?

From what I've read people have had success leaving the 2.31 unlocker and flashing an earlier custom ROM.

I've installed 2.31 unlocker and alltel rom and OMG's rom. I'd like to build a custom using the ppcgeeks kitchen but right now it's not set up for the newer unlocker and 3.x roms. Can I flash back so that I can use the kitchen, or am I better off waiting til the update to the kitchen?
