Thank you, this worked, luckily i have several extra cards laying around so i didnt have to erase the one for my phone.

also, for all those that keep asking about this and are worried about this, yes, the version discrepancy is completely normal. it just means v1 of imcokemans rom.
whenever you flash a custom rom, it says whatever they want it so say in the ruu, so even if it doesnt say 1.12.651.1, that doesnt mean that it is downgraded, it is just the version of the custom rom builders rom.

ImCoKeMaN,... followed your instructions (and with a little help from jim2561) everything went as advertised. I unlocked my touch, then used a separately downloaded RUU and image to flash the ROM with the WM 6.1 Upgrade (nueROM-V wm61 Build 100) onto the phone successfully. I know it's 6.1 because I now have threaded SMS (the only way I know to tell).

However, this upgrade prevents the loading of the Sprint Stuff immediately after a hard reset. The result is I no longer have Sprint TV, On Demand, msn Messenger, Sprint Mobile Mail, and a few other Sprint specific apps and cabs. There's also a few plugin missing as well,... HTC Today Plugin and GroveMobile quickly come to mind.

How can I get these back? Is there a location where these cabs and plugins can be found and loaded manually? Can they be loaded manually or do they have to be loaded by the 'Run Sprint_TSK' script that launches itself at the end of a hard reset? Is the another 6.1 build I should be using (JayMike spoke of a 105 build in the post above)? Did I do something wrong or maybe forget a step or two? I've reviewed my process and I think I got everything. But I don't hear a lot of others with this same dilema!

Updated first post, it was pointing to ftp.ppcgeeks.com which apparently is no longer a valid alternative to up.ppcgeeks.com In addition somehow my file got renamed because it wasn't spelled "vouge" on my pc and i tested the link when i put it up. It should be working now, at:

thanks for the help, but now i need more help. for the last eight hours try to unlock and flash 6.1 but didn't get anywhere. follow readme in the file and end up with error 626. right before 626 popup, seen like connection on my touch and laptop is disconnected, I didn't do it run vogue_unlocke.bat and endup with black screen initializing......i keep it on that for over a hour and didn't go anywhere....help!
