I just did my first flash ever yesterday to this Rom and it seems to be working great!! Whole process took about 30-45 minutes. It was much simpler than I was expecting.

Windows 6.1 is kind of cool...

Everything seems to be working perfectly with one exception, I'm having a problem with my sprint mobile email. I get a error alert (error code s7110) when i try to register my account... has anybody else had that problem?

Oh yeah one more question if I do a hard reset... will it reload JD's 6.1 ROM that I just flashed to or will it just break?

Hey man, thanks for the great roms, I want to know if you could please work on a 6.1 telus rom for me. Like everyone else has said your rom is the only one that hasn't locked up my touch, at random times.

I can't log in to the FTP. Is there a username /pass I need to get?

EDIT: Nevermind I was able to get in by removing the "sprint.rar" from the address bar in order to get a directory listing.

Hey Touchfan,

I just loaded this ROM and got that same error. Have you found an answer yet? I also get an error that it can't connect to the server.

Hey JD,

I finally loaded the ROM. Thanks. It seems fine. I am having 2 issues that maybe you can help with.

1. the Sprint email problem that touchfan has
2. My phone keeps switching between ringer, vibrate and off

Any help would be appreciated

Not yet. Sprint Mobile Email is made by Seven. Its their 6.x version branded with sprint clothes. So I just started using Seven's 7.x beta version from here. http://community.seven.com/forum/main.php. It works the same, its a little more customizable and you can get HTML emails instead of text based. I actually like it a lot better.

Thanks for the info. I'll try it later when I get home. Is there a cab I can just get from my phone? That way I don't have to wait.

yeah if you go to the website and sign up they will send you a link to the cab file.
