Hey all this is just a OEM WM6.1 Sprint rom

THERE ARE NO TWEAKS TO THIS ROM NOTHING FANCY AT ALL IT IS JUST A SPRINT ROM THAT HAS WM6.1

The sys comes from the official kaiser vodaphone uk release that I ported to the big storage sprint rom

You can find this on the ftp for a limited time ftp://ppcgeeks:ezupload@up.ppcgeeks....ock/Sprint.rar

if this effort is supported I may make oem roms for other carriers

Bluetooth Does Not Work. I keep getting a Bluetooth hardware not found message when I try to turn it on. Is there a chance that a driver didn't get cooked into this rom? Since I do not have access to the bluetooth drivers and I'm not familiar with where the registry keys go, I'm flashing a different rom.

You aren't going to find an "official, OFFICIAL" wm6.1 rom directly from sprint/htc anytime soon. Heck, titan users haven't even gotten their official sprint/htc rom that has rev. A. They are using a beta (last time I checked).

I am definitely interested in this but bluetooth has to be working first. That's very important to me. Otherwise it's exactly what I'm looking for. Great job!

Maybe the kaiser has a different bt stack than the vouge/touch. Just a thought. Good luck!

There are plenty of 6.1 Vogue roms floating around with a fully functional BT Stack with all profiles supported. This sounds like something that can be fixed with a registry edit.

Yeah he should repost it. The reason I flashed to a different rom is because I'm getting a new BT headset in the mail and I don't want to pair it to my computer just to try it out.

JD should just edit his post to disclose the bluetooth bug for now, just in case somebody is not interested in the BT radio being enabled for the time being. Other than that, the rom was damn near perfect stock wise.

ok I fixed bluetooth the rom is back in full effect ....... if this effort is supported I will make BELL ALLTELL TELUS roms

Thanks jakdillard! I'm ready to install now that BT is working.

The only thing I want to make sure of is if the battery life is improved with this ROM as have been posted by others and if yes, by how much?

Thanks. I know you never said that. I saw others that have said it in other 6.1 ROMs so I was just hoping.... That would really be my main reason for installing a new ROM. I like that yours has the basic Sprint stuff. I really wanted the longer battery life. Oh well.

JD you are the damn man! I noticed that bluetooth was working in No2chems OEM style Sprint rom but OBEX seemed broken. Ill try one more time before I flash this new rom and after just to make sure it wasn't my computers BT stack messing up. Once I do that I will report back. Just out of curiosity, what happened with the BT? I bet it was a missing DLL or Registry Key huh? Or did you use that newer build of the 6.1 rom you were talking about?

He has earned a reputation of cooking some pretty stable 6.1 roms that don't freeze for no reason. I have yet to have any of his 6.1 roms lock up on me indefinitely until the next soft reset. I get the occasional lockups from a program taking too much cpu time but thats to be expected from any WinMo device

Uhh I really don't know what happened to the bt what I did to fix this was use the original bt from the vogue rom

so far so good all my apps are on and i been texting all night without a lock up (the other roms i tried would have done so by now unfortunatly)

A Bell OEM would be much appreciated - that being said, will the sprint ROM work with a Bell Touch?

This Sprint OEM will work with the Bell Touch (any Rom made for the Vogue should). BUT with that said, a Bell 6.1 OEM would be much appreciated :D
