Re: Cook your own Custom Touch ROM
Hey, this is a ? for OMJ and JD. I am looking at upgrading the base for my rom, as I noticed OMJ is using CE OS 5.2.19716. How would I go about posting this to my rom, or learning about how to do this. Any help would be great

I went to the system>>about and it says what i want. I just want to know if the actual os files where updated, or if it pulled that from somewhere else

Re: Cook your own Custom Touch ROM
AFAIK, the build number is determined by reading a dll on the phone. If it wasn't so early in the morning I would know which one it is. I think it is something like coredll.dll

Re: Cook your own Custom Touch ROM
So do you think it worked, or should i do it the proper way by taking the syts folder.. blah blah blah. I tried it earlier, but it didnt work, but i think it is because I am using the new battery.dll ans didnt run g'reloc

Re: Cook your own Custom Touch ROM
lol Just to be on the safe side... I would port the SYS folder.
You would kill two birds with one stone if you did this, since I think it was recommended to G'reloc after adding the hacked battery.dll or the rilphone.dll |
