Re: Cook your own Custom Touch ROM
This will not work. Many of the cooks ... how to say ... nah, forget it ... it won't work.
![]() Generally, you are going to want to start with an OEM rom from sprint, altell, verizon, etc. and go through the process of decomposing, rebuilding and flashing without modification (the first time) just to ensure the donor rom and tool-set have worked properly to create a useable rom for your phone. Once you have done this, you can go through the process again, having made changes or added your own oem's. Best regards, -boggsie |

Re: Cook your own Custom Touch ROM
Do something to their ROM to make it hard to decompile with this method.... protecting their work I guess. Rightfully so... they put tons of hours into it.

Re: Cook your own Custom Touch ROM
When you break down your donor rom is there any way to get a selection list or do you just need to create a new on pointing to the kitchen you create. Do you overwite folders in an existing kitchen? A little fuzzy on that part. Tried searching for that but I must be using the wrong term or soemthing.
