are you refering to the rainbow bar? if you are, it's the battery gauge, can be removed from the startup folder under windows

There are some folks trying to extract the radio bits from the new Alltel ROM which is supposed to have EVDO RevA too. Early word (not sure how accurate) is that it also has GPS.

I'm playing catchup, been away/very busy last few days....if I have time today (when I'm not working on the new Alltel ROM) I will try to cook a verizon version of my custom rom.

maybe you've already figured it out, but there shouldn't be anything that would disable WA3.....I don't know alot about WA3, I had used WA2 briefly when I had the apache.....the only thing that comes to mind, is exiting out of QuickMenu, then trying.

I was not able to re-create this problem, you may want to hard reset, then test again.

probably aint gonna happen dude, wa2/3 and wad/wad2 arent freeware, you have to pay to use them. Trial versions are available though
