OMJ's WM6.1 Custom Touch ROM with UC! v8 Updated 04-16-08

Hey Omj, I Flashed Back To Your Rom, And Im Also Having Active Sync Problems. It Works Just As Soon As I Flash It, But After A While Active Sync Stops Connecting, Then I Have To Hard Reset And Put Everything Back The Way It Was And It Still Does The Same Thing. Do U Know Whats Going On?

I use OTA acticesync & have not had this issue, I haven't seen anyone else report it either. I'm not sure what it could be.....sorry.

Just wanted to thank you for the awesome rom you put out. It's lasted me the longest I can remember without flashing. I probably wont flash again until your next version.

I'm new on here but want to say thanks OMJ for this great rom. I was wondering if a few things could be done like putting the same skin you use for the dialer on the calculator and changing the green windows splash into something of a dark color maybe similar to derek's? Again thanks this rom is so awesome!

DPG...well that's what seperates the different chef's, each of us have our own tastes. I'm not here to compete w/ any of them, or make my ROM look like theirs. I build my ROM around my tastes, then share it with everyone. I understand not everyone has the same tastes, and that's cool. The only way you will get exactly what you want is to cook your own.

Those 2 things can be added very easy, grab the vista calculator skin & install. If ya like Dereks boot splash, ask him to post it, then just copy it to \windows. Or you could make your own custom splash. It's called welcomehead.96.png, size is 320x320.

I dont know if this is an issue anyone else has experienced but today I set the alarm on my phone for the first time and it didn't ring at the time I designated it to. Then about 6 hours later my phone had about 50 errors and it crashed. Had to soft reboot it about 3 times then close the errors with quickmenu.I'm not sure if it had to do with the alarm being set or not. It seems OK now since then...

ok, I've uploaded a OEM version of my ROM, basically it's a stoct Sprint ROM w/ WM6.1 w/ no added programs.

---added the dialpad popup fix
---Is UC compatible

**Note* Sprint Customization will run 1st b4 UC. If you do not want it to run, soft reset when the customization window opens. To manually run UC if Sprint Customization is NOT run, go to \Windows & run SDAutoRun.exe.

I am also working on v8, which just has some minor updates, but please remind me of anything specific that need to be addressed.

--latest version of Flashvideobundle ( I'm having trouble w/ converting this from cab to OEM)

--adding no2chems nueLED (sounds like a nice battery saver)

--i'll be organizing the program folder to include a few subfolders

--possibly adding AdvanceConfig v1.1

--possibly updated version of Live Search? (anyone have a newer version?)
