I am honestly stumpped as to where else to read. I want the Manila 2d but i can't find a .cad for it for my phone, the Touch/Vogue and what i do read makes no sense to me. I know i am very much a fish out of water here just not to sure what else to do.

Hi all,
I was wondering if the internal GPS is constantly running in the background and using up the battery? Can I selectively turn it off to conserve battery power or does it only run when an application calls for it? |

I believe that GPS starts only when an application calls for it, but then does remain on even when the application is closed for some period of time that I don't know. I always just try to be safe and just soft-reset when I'm finished (should be soft-resetting once or more / day anyway).

It does exactly like jim said, but no need to soft reset...If you feel the need open task manager and see if its still running.
