For now, just install those cabs, I need to create OEM's to cook in the ROM.

As I understand it, it reduces your RAM, but increases your cache RAM

Thanks, but I think I tried it, and BuildOS gave me errors....I'll try again.

Yeah, you need to remove the startupanimation.dll from either his OEM, or the OEMAPPS directory.

That should fix your problem.

Sorry if this is a little off topic but... I'm using the new jbed java and trying to get my opera mini shortcut to work. It used to work fine with the old jbed but now I cant seem to get the number right (the one that is after the "s" in the shortcut). I have tried numbers 0-9 with no luck. It just opens java and shows Opera Mini inside, instead of automatically opening it up. this is the only java app I have installed by the way.

example of what I have now= "\windows\jbed.exe" -run s0

Ok,... this is the part that's got me totally confused. I've successfully unlocked and flashed the 6.1, but there's a lot of missing sprint stuff,... a Today Screen for one! I guess that's what you mean by "clean". I DL'd the basekit, but don't know what to do with it. I'm assuming it's the stuff that makes the phone recognizable as a Sprint phone,... maybe.

My questions:

1. What is a kitchen? Is it another app that's ran behind the unlocker/RUU one-two punch? If so, I'm gathering that I place these three folders in the basekit DL in the the kitchen folder similarly to the way I placed the 'RUU_signed.nbh' image into the RUU folder for flashing. Right?

2. Where do I find the regular ron (stock Sprint rom) to extract the os.nb? Do I put this one extraced file in the RUU folder along with the RUU_signed.nbh 107 build?

3. What is an XIP? Do I need to do this ONLY if I plan on using Windows Live?

Now I read that no2chem wasn't available for support, but I hope either he doesn't consider this support (yeah), or someone else to chime in with a little assistance! I almost got this thing understood, but I didn't deal with the terms basekit, kitchen and XIP during my first flash of the 100 build,... which was successful and relatively easy!

Thanks!

I'm confused about the XIP deal too. I'm on Bell Mobility, not sprint, do I need to alter anything to take this into account?

I've heard numerious requests for the touch keyboard. Personally, I like the large start menu. We need a clean rom that is still a touch rom. If I have any backers on this say it loud, day it proud.
I agree - a clean ROM should retain the HTC programs that give a device its unique identify. I'm all in favor of dropping Sprint bloatware, and useless MS stuff like Customer Experience and Windows Update (has it EVER done ANYTHING?!).
