Which ROM? Basically the home screen and task bars shown here are what you will get with the ROM.

The ROMs are pre configured for cricket. So if you are flashing from Bell then yes you will need to follow the tutorial. If you are already on cricKet then flash away my friend.

CricKet isn't really new they've been around for over 10 yrs now. The are a child company of leap wireless along with Jump mobile. As far as cool ROMS specific for Bell, I would have no idea. I would start a search with the key words Bell WM 6.5.3 ROM and see what that brings up. Also there are alot of generic ROMS that only require a carrier cab. If you hit me up this weekend I might be able to throw a generic one together if you point out which one peaked your interest.

I flash phones and book freight on weekdays and cook custom ROMS on the weekend.

Installed 6.5.1 and I love it! The only negative is that my battery life went out the window. I thought it was my battery that was no good anymore but I have 3 spares and all of them drained down right away, overnight to be exact. Know anything that might help?\\:D/

What is your normal battery life?
You can adjust setting like the backlight and such but I have never had this complaint or problem.
My personal battery life lasts for 6 hrs of talk or approx 13 hrs standby. I also use my phone for a steady 8 - 10 hrs per day 5 days a week. and charge it about half way through the day, then again at bed time.
