12/22/09 WM 6.5.3 SYS 28014 (M2d with Footprints)!!!

I have a question.My friend is with US Cellular (Brand new Vogue and stock ROM.radio 3.42.30) and he cannot get evdo connection and GPS lock even in downtown Chicago.It was like that since he [urchased and activated this phone.
Tech support dont know whats wrong.
I flashed his Touch with my 23506_v4 and its still "1X".
IP AGPS address is present (dont remember numbers though).
I also noticed that his M.IP Default Profile/NAI in PST was
"many numbers"@uscc.net (numbers dont match with anything)
do you know if I he should change it to "ESN NUMBER"@USCC.NET?

NAI in M.IP User Profile/NAI were empty.
Any advice on this?

You might have check this already but does he have the latest PRL? If so then I am not sure why.

Hi Vin, I downloaded Build 23506 for Vogue and I'm using it on metroPCS since day 1, I also dowloaded the WEB MMS CAB file and its working like a charm, the only thing that Im trying to change is the picture background with the black screens and Angel wings. I could go to the home screen a select Appearance and select my own picture it will change it for the slider screen and the home screen but it wont for others screens. Please some help.

-go to settings-->home-->appearance (check "use this picture as background")---> browse photos then select.

I have 28014 nonmanila ROM,but its buggy like everything that I cooked with new ppck. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=502
I dont have a good kitchen to cook.new ppck is good for bare bones only.(in vogue case).I cooked 23511 sys for my friends Titan and it works fine.
Our last hope is NFSFAN (check this page) http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...2487&page=1240

Or Drellisdee (if he still have Vogue for tests).I dont want to bother him,he already did titanic work for Vogue in the past...
