Default Contacts Filter

I could not find any recent posts about this so I thought I'd check if anyone knew if there were any new developments...

I have about 600 contacts and they are all catagorized in outlook. Does anyone know how to keep the default filter set at something other than "all contacts" on these phones???

It is very cumbersome to set the filter each time I open my contacts....
