Quick GPS Download Problems???
Mine has expired and im trying to update it but it keeps saying

"Connection Failed, Please Try Again"..

has anyone else encountered this?

yea, it happened to me when i tried to update my ppst to an older one. needless to say it caused a bunch of problems ...

after spending hrs on the phone with tier 2 tech, just ended up swappin it out for a new one.

I've encountered this problem since the first time i tried to use Quick GPS, is there a way to fix this, i dont know the problem is.

Make sure you have your location on. That's what I found on mine.

My Location must be turned on under Setting/Phone/Services...

Hi Iam new to this forum.

I am having troubles with my gps not updating (QuickGps)
following the above quote
Ok On my screen i have: call barring,Caller ID,Call Forwarding,Call Waiting,Voice and Text Messages. I don't see there part about my location to to turn it on please.

Funny that this program is dependant on the 911 / My Location being turned on. I've been trying to figure out for months why my TP drains a battery twice as fast as my OL's TP. I FINALLY went through, setting by setting, and figured out that by turning off the My Location, my TP now will run all freaking day on a full charge instead of 3 to 4 hours!
What a revelation!
It would seem that the writer of QuickGPS would figure a different way to download the data without needing this setting turned on.
