Verizon Touch Pro on Telus Network???

Ok so i got a friend in canada that lost his phone and cannot upgrade yet and cannot afford to buy one at retail. I have a spare verizon touch pro and was wondering its at all possible to get it working on Telus network somehow? Anyone know if i need to unlock anything or do something in order for it to work, or is it not possible at all?
