Pro Randomly Restarting and GPS Issues...

I was using Google Maps while I was in Houston yesterday and it worked fine getting me into the city, then when trying to leave, it would work for a bit then the phone would randomly restart, I would let it turn back on, open Google Maps again and about the time I get a search going again, it would restart again...

The phone felt fairly warm, would a heat issue cause the phone to restart?

The phone also restarted this afternoon while I was texting on it. Hadn't used the internet or any program except texting all day, and random restart as yesterday.

Then last night on the drive home, I desperately tried Google Maps and got it to find my location which got the local map up but said weak GPS signal and couldn't hold my GPS dot... then after a bit my phone froze.... just tried Google Maps now and it found me using GPS in my house no problem...

Ring any bells with anyone?

I am running just the stock rom with only the Sprint Stock Rom clean up stuff from here. Haven't done any major changes to my phone in months. I also have Advanced Config on the phone...

sounds like an overheating issue, you should try no2chems fastcharge fix it stops it heating up, in general the tp will heat up on long use of gps, maybe you would be better of turning off everything including tf3d while running google maps
