Re: I installed a new ROM but lost all my contacts! Urgent!

I use NSContact backup and it works like a charm.

Re: I installed a new ROM but lost all my contacts! Urgent!

Mistakes do happen once in a while. If you are using Microsoft Outlook as your contact manager on your computer, I also tell people to export all yer contacts into a backup file once in a while in Microsoft Outlook.

I actually have an SD Card that every now and then, I export all of my contacts from Outlook onto the SD Card, and keep it in the safe. I have a few over 400 contacts. So I make sure just in the rare case that my phone & Computer crashed at the same time (That would probably be a virus), I still have my contacts, and photos, and music backed up.

Re: I installed a new ROM but lost all my contacts! Urgent!

Paranoia is usually bad, except when backing up pre flash. You actually had 2 backups (outlook + myphone) which is a good idea.

I think I am up to 4 now
myphone
sprite backup
copy of pim.vol on storage card and
funambol

After that, I feel safe to flash. Glad it all worked out for you.

I use http://alol.net.br for exchange syncing. works great and no extra software required.
