Complicated touch pro replacement

I want to get the HTC Hero and my mother wants a Blackberry Tour. Sprint is replacing my touch pro for the Tour and I want to swap that out for the HTC Hero when my mother gets it. She isn't eligible for the $150 but is willing to change her plan to do so. If she changes her plan to a data plan, will she qualify for the $150 upgrade (like i can if i waited a year) on the spot? And If she swaps out the Hero for the Touch Pro, will she get the replacement Tour, or is the advanced exchange phone only linked to my account?
