Complicated touch pro replacement
 

I want to get the HTC Hero and my mother wants a Blackberry Tour. Sprint is replacing my touch pro for the Tour and I want to swap that out for the HTC Hero when my mother gets it. She isn't eligible for the $150 but is willing to change her plan to do so. If she changes her plan to a data plan, will she qualify for the $150 upgrade (like i can if i waited a year) on the spot? And If she swaps out the Hero for the Touch Pro, will she get the replacement Tour, or is the advanced exchange phone only linked to my account? Sorry for the confusion if it may be and thanx in advance

I've swapped phones on the same account without any issues. But never two phones that are activated. You can check the sprint website to what she is eligible for in terms of the upgrade. Or call sprint. Why would you all upgrade to a data plan just for a discount? Isn't it cheaper to just not use the data plan and save the $15-$25 a month (probably $25 for the discount).
