android os on tp????

I think i'm kinda late, but i just seen that some people loaded the android os on the touch pro. has anybody here done it??? if so, what are the advantages over winmo, besides the look.. i heard u lose all the features of the pphone like the camera, usb, gps etc, but that was in an older article '08

It's pretty old, they might have fixed it by now but dunno here - way I figure it is if it really worked, everyone and their mom would be posting about how kick arse it is!

lol yea there's gonna be a million threads about it..i think they'll figure somethin out with the htchero though especially with the drivers

They're making a lot of progress. While it is true CDMA does not yet work, a lot of other stuff does. And now that HTC has released the Hero's kernel source, I would imagine it will move forward even more.

niiice. thanx i'm gonna keep tabs on it especially since htc released the source code for the hero. i'd imagine that should really start unlockin stuff

or there is actuall skin its just like android but windows is still there its pretty kool as well its called androkkid
