Touch quit after protecting

I have an HTC AT&T Tilt 8925, and I put a screen protector on it that said it was designed for the HTC, and after I turned the phone back on, the touch feature of the phone didn't work anymore.

Any ideas on how to get it to work again

Removing the screen protector was the answer, but leaves the screen open to scratches, etc. Is there any kind of screen protector that will still leave functionality intact?

I had mine wrapped at the mall with the Invisashield, had the TP for 9 months now, not a mark on it!!

I got mines done at the Mall also the product is Called Ghost Armor. I love it's scratched resisant and also a big plus is that it comes with lifetime warranty. Just google the name and you'll see the website.

Cost isnt an option with me, the stuff works and I abuse mine! It lands in my pocket with the car keys, tossed around, dropped. Heck I beat on that phone like it owes me money! Not a mark on it!
